Meeting of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia with the Chair of the Committee on Foreign Policy and Interparliamentary Cooperation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine

On August 15, Acting Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan, as part of his working visit to Kyiv, had a meeting with Oleksandr Merezhko, Chair of the Committee on Foreign Policy and Interparliamentary Cooperation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

The interlocutors touched upon the Armenia-Ukraine cooperation agenda, highlighting the importance of intensifying engagement across various areas of mutual interest.

Vahan Kostanyan and Oleksandr Merezhko also discussed the prospects for further development of interparliamentary ties, particularly the enhancement of cooperation between the relevant committees of the two parliaments through reciprocal visits and regular contacts.

During the meeting, views on a number of regional and international issues were exchanged.
